Grace Waterman has been playing music for 13 years.
Some may say my musical journey began when I started taking piano lessons at 7 years old, but I would argue it started as a baby when I would cry if the radio wasn’t playing music or hum to myself in a rocking chair. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and as time goes on, I fall deeper in love. After many years of piano, I began studying the harp. I instantly fell in love, and joined a youth orchestra three months after my first lesson. Before two years had passed, I auditioned and was accepted into the Northwest Indiana Symphony Youth Orchestra. This incredible group pushed me to my musical limit, and I enjoyed every rehearsal, recording session, and live performance with them. Currently, I am in a new chapter with my studies at Valparaiso University for a Music Therapy degree. As I study, learn from incredible musicians, perform, and teach at three music studios, I know my journey is far from over. Music is one of my greatest passions, and I would love to share the beautiful gift of music with everyone I can. It would honor for me to perform at your event and make it something special. Please contact me with any questions you have. I look forward to working with you!
